Spending time with your child is important to helping her learn and grow! In fact, your involvement is key to your child's future success.

There are many things that you can do to with your child, starting at birth, to build her skills, knowledge, and abilities in many different areas. It isn't difficult and it won't take a lot of time.

The School Readiness Activity Boxes or the Searchable Database will help you get started.  An Activity Calendar, which gives things to do everyday with your infant, toddler, or preschooler, is also available. 

All focus on seven different areas of child development, called Domains of Learning. Experts agree that your child needs to be supported and nurtured in each of these areas in order to do well in school:
