  • Issue Insights discusses the background, effects and suggests remedies to eliminate the gaps in school readiness and achievement.  Issue Insights was released at Ready At Five’s September 2009 School Readiness Symposium that featured Dr. Ronald Ferguson, the Director of the Tripod Project for School Improvement and the Achievement Gap Institute at the Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Ferguson’s keynote presentation discussed the causes, issues and strategies inherent in eliminating gaps in school readiness and achievement.
