Check out our December ParentTip on How to Help Your Child to Grow Healthy and Strong

Your child’s health is the most important thing she has! When your child is healthy, she is ready to learn. There is a lot you as a parent can do to keep it that way such as having regular times for meals and snacks so that your child will grow up eating on a healthy schedule. Eat healthy foods yourself as an example for your child. Make eating healthy foods fun. Offer your child fruit as a snack. You can freeze fruit juice cubes for a treat, or make cookies sweetened with honey rather than sugar. Children who eat too many sugars and fats are likelier to develop health problems later.  Please click here to see more of our December ParentTip on Helping Your Child Grow Healthy and Strong!

Know How Your Child Grows!

Your young child is growing fast! The early years are the most important ones for your child’s physical, emotional and mental development. Since every child is different, children grow and develop at different rates. Most children at each age have a certain range of skills. But children don’t develop evenly.
They are usually further ahead in one area than in another. If you have a concern about your child’s development, talk with your child’s doctor. Please click here  to learn more about our November ParentTip on Knowing How Your Child Grows!
