Anne Arundel County

48% of Anne Arundel County’s children demonstrate kindergarten readiness, up from 45% in 2016-2017 and higher than the statewide average (45%).

The Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) data is an invaluable source of information and insight for continuing to strengthen the school readiness of the County's young children. Anne Arundel County administered the KRA to a sample of its public school kindergarteners (22%). As a result, the critical KRA data is available to teachers only for the individual students assessed.
