Cecil County

42% of Cecil County’s children demonstrate kindergarten readiness, up from 35% in 2016-2017.

The Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) data is an invaluable source of information and insight for continuing to strengthen the school readiness of the County's young children. Cecil County administered the KRA to a sample of its public school kindergarteners (30%). As a result, the critical KRA data is available to teachers only for the individual students assessed.
