Trauma-Sensitivity in Community Settings: What Works & Why facilitates understanding of what trauma is, how it may impact children in a variety of early care and education settings, and importantly what educators and others who serve children and families can do about it. Two practical learning segments will be included: 1) the importance of regulation and 2) trauma-sensitive communication strategies.
